Abstract This paper presents an efficient approach to compute the bounds on reliability of a structure subjected uncertain parameters described by means imprecise probabilities. These probabilities arise from epistemic uncertainty in definition hyper-parameters set random variables that describe aleatory some structure’s properties. Typically, such calculation involves solution so-called double-loop problem, where crisp problem is repeatedly solved determine which realization uncertainties yields worst or best case with respect structural safety.
